Mission: Getting started
Location: Various

"Oh, well that is convenient." Jessy stated. "I keep forgetting that. '' giving a light laugh. "I normally went shopping on the promenade to purchase clothing for myself."

Sherlocks nose crinkled a little, “Well..we’re not exactly at Deep Space Nine, love.”

"True, where I last served we had shops where we could go to buy clothing. And had real cloth that was woven and brought to the station. Maybe I was just a tad bit spoiled." Jessye giving a shrug.

“Sounds about right.”

Jessye's mouth dropped open when Sherlock made his comment, and looked sharply at him. "Well then." she said in a mock huff, but her eyes gave her away, she couldn't be angry at him. She did try to keep a stern expression, though but was utterly failing.

Sherlock chortled a little bit and gave her a quick kiss once he leaned over enough. “I’m just teasing you, darling.”

Sherlock's reward for his tease was a playful swat on his arm followed by another kiss. A few more moments of snuggling, then Jessye pulled back. "I should go, and get ready for the day, including getting a shower, and getting breakfast. One can not live by snuggles alone." Jessye said with a laugh.

He mused a little, “I suppose we both should be doing that.”

"Well... how about we take care of personal chores and I'll meet back here in a few hours and we can see what we come up with for Academy possibilities. Does it sound okay to you?" Jessye asked, giving Sherlock another kiss, and leaning her forehead against his.

The kiss was returned, more than once and a little nudge against her forehead, in a good way. He didn’t want her to go, but they did have their own things to deal with. They would want their own space some times as well. Even their own friends they did things with away from each other. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. “Sounds good to me.”

Another tender kiss and Jessye reluctantly left Sherlock's quarters. There were things for her to do and letters to write.

Later that evening

Jesseye pressed the chime to Sherlock’s quarters, Having forgotten to check the computer to see if he was there. She wondered if he’d like to go have dinner. She had set up a place for them to dine, in the holodeck. She was wearing the red dress he had selected for her earlier. Her hair was loose and brushed to a silky shine.

He was there, wearing the first outfit that she’d picked out for him. Coming to open the doors instead of just calling for her to come in. Standing there stunned at how she looked. Absolutely amazing.

"Hi, want to come on a date with me?" Jessye asked after a moment of really looking at him. "Woah you look magnificent." moving in for a quick kiss.

Still no words, even after the kiss, which of course was returned. “Do I what..huh?”

"Do you want to go out to dinner, as in a date.. Um have you ever been on a date before, Sherlock?" Jessye had a questioning look in her eyes.

His eyes finally moved back up. “Oh. A date. Yes. I would love to go on one with you. Are you going to show me off? Because, I certainly don’t need to show you off. You can do that all on your own.”

"Well as much as I would love to show you off, as you said, I actually have another plan I've come up with. We're going to the holodeck for dinner." A dazzling smile appeared, due to the reaction Sherlock gave her. Jesseye felt well rewarded at her choice of outfit.

She took the crook of his elbow, and said. "Come on, let's go." smiling up at him. To the holo deck they went and when the door was opened it would be mid afternoon, Pine trees around and a view of an ocean on the left hand side. “We’ll be eating at the beach, but first.”She turned and directed Sherlock’s view towards a black Chevrolet Impala, a glossy black, classic style. “Shall we take a ride towards dinner?” Jessye asked with a smile.

He snuggled up against her as they walked. Looking around at the program and then to the car. “Is that a….but how did you?” Patting her arm so he could walk over and run a hand along the top, down along the hood. Turning to look back to her.

Jessye smiled at his reaction. "Well with your tastes in clothing and what you like, I decided to find a car that I thought would look like a good match for you. She is beautiful isn't she?" walking up towards Sherlock, running her own hand along the glossy black surface. "My twin, he loves classic cars as well. I take it, I made a good choice?" coming near him. “He also has a 1965 Mustang he’d been restoring.”

“Yes,” nodding and kissing her quickly then looking back. “An excellent choice.”

"Well then." Jessye moving towards the passenger side of the Impala. "The keys are in the ignition." she opens the passenger side door and slides in." And I am on the passenger side." she leaned over the drivers side and called out through the open drivers side window. "Let's take a drive to where you want to go, just as long as we make it to dinner sometime." giving a laugh.

“I think I know of a spot.” Getting in and looking to her. Running hands over the wheel a moment. “You drive back?” Sherlock started the engine.

“I would love that very much.” Jessye stated, looking lovingly at Sherlock, “Let’s see what this baby can do.” giving a smile, and turning to face forward.

That was what they were going to do. At least open it up on the actual road. Off road would be too dangerous. He didn’t exactly know how to race, race in cars. Getting it up to a good high speed, however, before slowing it down. Having spied a spot on the way to go to. Passing along on each side of them were beautiful red, orange, and yellow leaves. Turning off that took them up a dirt road to an open cliff overlooking water and mountains in the distance.

When they stopped, Jessye looked out towards the water and the mountains, her breath taken away by the sheer beauty of it. "So lovely, so beautiful." she finally spoke, her voice filled with awe.

“I went with what I saw. So here we are, but you’re the one that programmed the..well..program.” Smiling to her.

"I may have put the program in, it was a random choice except for this." motioning to the car. "This was deliberate. I am surprised by this." gesturing towards the horizon. Come on shall we go outside and gaze out at that piece of art?" moving her hand to his, resting it there.

“Then I suppose that I have a good eye.” Sherlock turned his hand over against her so he could lace his fingers with her as well. “I believe so,” moving his hand so the two of them can get out.

Jesssye moved out of the car to meet Sherlock in front, somewhat leaning against the hood. "I could just gaze out at this being content, especially with you here."

His eyes shifted just slightly over in her direction before turning back to look over the view. “This would be perfect if it were real.”

"This is true but.. I feel there will be a time when we can experience this for real. For now though I will still call this perfect for this moment, this perfect moment in time. And also several other perfect moments." giving a smile and wrapping an arm around Sherlock's waist, and leaning her head on his shoulder.

He leaned his own head to kiss the top of hers and keep her close. “Yes, for now we can have this.”

Jesseye snuggled up against Sherlock, just enjoying being in his arms, feeling his warmth against her side. A little bit later, she asked, “Shall we go have dinner?” though she was feeling reluctant to end this.

“We should, I’m getting a bit hungry.” Giving her a nod.

“Okay, let's get going then. And I get to drive now,” Jessye said, with a smile. Walking over to the driver’s side of the car. “And I promise I won’t be reckless.”

“Yes you do, and it’s not a real car. You could play a little bit.” Sherlock moved over to the passenger side and slipped in.

“Well I could even make this car fly. Just saying. After all, the limits are within a person’s imagination. Have you watched a movie called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? I loved that film when I watched it. It's an old classic earth film.” Jessye said with a grin.

“I have not, and we already have flying cars, dear.”

“Alright drive it is.” Giving a smile, starting up the car and setting down the road, she loved feeling the vibrations from the smooth running engine. She did kick some speed into the driving, handling the wheel and the curves of the road that would lead down to the beach. They soon arrived at their destination, a table was set up in a pavilion, the area lit up with softly glowing tiny lights. The scent of the dinner wafted its way to their noses. Some type of pasta dish, “Hope you like lasagna.” she said.

“I love lasagna.” Smiling to her and moving out of the car. “Well someone set up something ahead of time.

“Just wanted to go on a date with you.” giving a smile, “Just to show appreciation for you.” taking him by the hand. “Come on, shall we eat and then a bit of dancing?” nodding towards the dance floor as well.

“And I appreciate you as well. This is very thoughtful.” Giving her hand a light squeeze. “We shall.”

The background music was soft and romantic, and Jessye went to lift the lids from the food that was there on a side table. Salad for whom wanted it, garlic bread, parmesan cheese, and other additions that one would want. “Sort of a buffet style for two.” Jessye said with a smile. There was also some beverages wine if he wished it and some lemon water and lemonade. “If there isn’t something you like you can ask the computer for it.” Jessye said. She dished up some salad and then some lasagna for herself, adding some black pepper and some parmesan on her portion, then moving towards the table where she set her plate down.

He wasn’t going to get anything else. She came up with it. There was no reason to spoil it. Getting himself a little bit of everything that she had. Setting his plates down and moving to the chair of hers to pull it out for her before she got to it.

“Thank you,” Moving forward and placing a cloth napkin on her lap, then picked up her fork to start eating. “I am looking forward to when we can make this together sometime.” Smiling, then takes a bite of her lasagna, before eating her salad. And definitely looking at him as she does so. She just didn’t seem to get bored at looking at Sherlock. Her eyes taking in the line of his jaw, the shape of his face, including looking at his lips, all the while smiling, between bites.

“You’re welcome,” moving to sit down himself. “I don’t see why we couldn’t, and other things.” Starting to eat, half of the time he was putting lasagna on the garlic bread to do it that way. Looking up to catch her all but staring. “What?” knowing what. Even the slightest blush from his cheeks.

She chuckled softly, “I just can’t take my eyes off of you. Perhaps I am so enamoured with you, I just can’t do so. I am so enchanted..” her own cheeks coloring or was it a reflection of the red dress she was wearing, due to the lighting. At any rate, there was color in her cheeks, and her eyes were radiant. “You’re just too good to be true, Can’t take my eyes off of you...” she says softly. “Now I truly know what that song means”

He gave a motion to her with his hand, “How am I suppose to say anything that can top that?” Giving a bright smile.
