Mission: Getting started
Location: Various

She rose from her chair to go to him to give him a kiss. “I’m sure you can, I just said what came to my mind, my love.” Her red hair brushing against his cheek.

The kiss was returned and smile could be felt behind it. “Well now it’s to set up. So I’ll have to later when you don’t expect it.”

“Indeed.” Jessye then moved back to her side of the table, to finish eating, and listening to the background music as well as the sound of the waves which splashed upon the beach. She also closed her eyes, to also hear the gentle breeze which rustled through the trees that were nearby.

“I suppose I’ll be doing the dishes, eh?” Smiling lightly again to her. Giving a glance down to finish his food also. Feeling and listening. Giving a thought to what music to dance to when they were done.

Jessye gave a soft gentle laugh, “Tonight, the dishes will take care of themselves..” she replied, resuming her eating. When the food was eaten, dessert was revealed, she couldn’t remember what sort of dessert he had liked. So, Jessye had a selection there waiting. She also had included something for herself, mixed berry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. “Take your pick of desserts, I couldn’t remember what you liked.”

“That one.” Giving a point to the triple chocolate cheese cake. Smiling warmly to her, love in his eyes.

Jessye got a slice for Sherlock, bringing over her pie as well as his cheesecake to the table. She set it down and pushed it across the table towards him. “That does look good.” giving a brief smile before she took a bite of her pie. Within her mind she was drawing pictures of him, trying to capture this moment in order for her to put it on paper.

“That’s because it is, love.” She probably should have gotten at least half of it, because that’s how much of it he could eat in one sitting. Even if he wasn’t that hungry. It was triple chocolate cheese cake. Reaching with the fork to get a bite and reaching, offering her the bite.

She took the offered bite, then tilted her head towards him. “Would you like a bite of my pie?” Jessye picked up a forkful to see if he’d like a taste.

“Sure,” leaning a little more than he already was leaning to take the bite when she gave it.

When he took the bite and she removed the fork she leaned in and gave him a kiss, just to get both the flavor of his kiss mixed with the flavor of the pie.

After the kiss, he gave her a look, “You really like that pie don’t you.”

Jessye sat back down and chuckled, “Well yes, but I love your kiss even more.” then resumed eating her dessert. Her eyes linger on his lips from time to time.

“I know of something else you’d like more.” Was that an innuendo or was he simply talking about kissing her more.

“To dance in your arms, and kiss? I would love that.” Jessye replied with a smile.

Sherlock gave a nod a little, “That, exactly.” Standing up and holding his hand out. They didn’t need music.

Jessye took his hand, rising gracefully from the chair, feeling electricity flowing through her just at the connection of his hand in hers. She walked with him to the dance floor, the skirt of her dress gently swirling about her knees. There didn’t need to be any music for there seemed already music playing, the music of the heart.

There was that. The connections, which happened to be explicitly unable to be explained. Either way it was there. Given they had the same idea and feeling, it made it perfect to leave it that way. Moving fluidly with her in the space there.

It felt so right being in his arms, just the two of them in their own world, with each step, with each turn, it was as if they had danced together before. Perhaps in another time, in another universe they may have.

Maybe they had, particularly if someone believed in past lives. Granted he didn’t, not really, but who knows. The dance could continue for as long as they wanted to.

They danced a bit longer, Jesseye not knowing the time but her body was telling her that it was getting late, her steps becoming slower and then she came to a stop, her arm about his waist. “I think it is time to end this dance, as I am feeling weary now, and I am slightly sad this evening is coming to an end, but it is only for just a slight time until we will see each other again.” Jessye looking into Sherlock’s eyes.

She already said it, but he can reaffirm it as well, “It’s not coming to an end. The adventure always continues.”

“It does indeed.” Jessye remarked softly, lifting her lips to meet his in a warm and tender kiss, it being a lingering one. Her arms pulling him against her, as they kiss.

His arms wrapped around her, both of them this time. Keeping the kiss as they have before. He wasn’t that sleepy, but he was alright with them going to bed.

Slowly reluctantly she withdrew her lips, as well as moving her arms from about him. However one hand moved to take his. “Shall we depart?” as she turned to look at the car they both drove and also to where they had their date. “This was wonderful. Thank you for doing this with me.”

“We should. We also probably have exceeded our allotted time as well.” Smiling lovingly to her, “You don’t need to thank me for something I wanted to do.” Calling for the arch.

The arch appeared, and as they moved towards it Jessye called out “End program, but save the car in Jessye’s file.” she turned to Sherlock, “What should the car be named?”

“I don’t know just yet. Um..just save it as Baby for the moment, can think of something else later.”

Jessye nodded, “Save car under Baby.” she requested then the car as well as the rest disappeared giving way to the grid pattern. She linked her arm with his, unless he wished to continue holding her hand whichever he wanted.

He didn’t particularly care one way or another, considering they could do both. It wasn’t particularly hard to link arms in a manner to hold hands as well, as they walked out of the Holodeck.

Jessye was amenable to that, having not experienced this before, leaning her head on his shoulder as they walked from time to time. When they reached her quarters, Jessye turned to face Sherlock, leaning in for another kiss and embrace, she then looked into his eyes, “ Good night dear one. I’ll see you in the morning.”
