| Physical Description | Fair complexion, with auburn hair its length is below her shoulder blade, with a slight wave to it. Jessye tends to keep her hair done up in a soft bun, and at times in a french braid while on duty. Off duty she has her hair in a loose pony tail or pulled back from her face with a colorful headband. Her dark grey eyes can be at times rather piercing when she is intently focused on things that interest her, at times they soften as well. They are rather expressive. |

| Personal History | Jessye was born and raised in the rural town named Blackawton, Devon, Great Britain, which resides not far from the sea. Jessye grew up hearing tales of seafaring and adventures of her grandfather a Star Ship Captain of a science vessel. Those tales and her strong desire to travel among the stars gave her the impetus, inspiration and drive to join Star Fleet when she turned 18. Jessye enjoyed her time in Star Fleet Academy, throwing herself whole heartedly into her studies and balancing her scholastics with some socializing. Her instructors as well as fellow students liked her zeal for life and her studies. Jessye graduated with high honors in both Science and Engineering. 2381 After graduation she was assigned to the USS Yamaguchi for two years, in operations, the chief liking her work put outstanding performance in her record and she was given an accelerated promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. 2383 Jessye's second assignment, to her delight, was to Starbase 304, where she became involved with soong-type android technology. She met Commander Geordi Laforge and B.4/Commander Data, which made her feel rather accomplished. During her stay there she was assigned to woirk on the prosthetics which were made for Lieutenant Zander Mitchell. She worked with Zander the full time he was there. They became friends and found some common interests. Also during this time, Jessye met and dated Captain Heldar Silva, who commanded a merchant ship named The Black Fury.She found he had a love of the sea and could trace his heritage all the way back to Rio de Janeiro, whose ancestor was located there, and was the second cousin to a general who was stationed there. Heldar had told Jessye, he was named after Heldar Marcos Renato Silva a great man, and a great Captain who commanded the first Black Fury. He was in love with her, She was in love with him, was practical about their relationship, at that time felt he was the one for her. They were married in 2384, at first the marriage was wonderful then Jessye realized that there were things wrong, things she didn't know until after a few months had passed by. She found out that he was a jealous, and possessive man, and had a temper. She wasn't one to back down on things though, never becoming a cowed woman. When it became evidently clear that things weren't going to work out, her divorce from him was quickly finalized when she came to her shift with a black eye. (the first and last time he ever hit her.) bruised ribs. She had bruises on her knuckles from placing some well placed punches and kicks, leaving him far worse than what she was. Jessye was assigned to the USS Savannah she was on the frigate for five years, once again doing outstanding service. during that time, she was promoted to Lieutenant Commander. When her five years were up, she was assigned to the USS Boadecia under the command of Captain Cara Letsul as second officer and Chief of Operations. Jessye enjoyed being under Captain Letsul's command. The woman ran a tight and efficient ship, but it wasn't one that a person hated serving on. Those who served under her, were willing and eager to give their best in whatever she asked of them. Cara had been promoted to Commodore during that time. Jessye didn't mind being near the Starbase which was on a converted asteroid which had been abandoned by an ancient race but was refurbished by Star Fleet. Her family had moved there. Jessye served four years on the USS Boadecia was slated to be there longer but was called into Commodore Letsul's office. There she was informed that she was being promoted to Commander and a request was made for her to be transferred to a Galaxy Class Ship named, the USS King George V, as the Executive Officer. Jessye's eyes lit up when she found out whom would be the Captain, Zander Mitchell! She also received the news that Cara was also promoted as well, to Rear Admiral. Jessye felt both humbled and honored to be asked to be on the Flag Ship the King George V, as she knew of the legends behind the name. She knew that Captain Letsul served on the other ship which bore the name of USS King George V. Also, she was slightly nervous as she found out, Admiral Fernandez would be on there as well. Legends have been noised about where he was concerned. Well onto a brand new experience would be her thoughts. Her service lasted two years upon the ship. She had been called into the office of Rear Admiral Letsul the dark haired woman, whom she called Cara when off duty. Cara had a concerned expression in her eyes, and also seemed a little bit sad. "Jessye, I've got some news for you. I don't know if it is good or bad news, you will be the judge of it for yourself. Admiral Fernandez has disappeared and we've been asked to go in search for him. However, Star Fleet has decided that you will be transferred to another ship. " Jessye's mouth dropped open. "Wait, what? I am confused." She was also feeling a bit sorrowful and slightly angry as well. "I didn't ask for a transfer at all." "I know this, and I do understand your feelings." Cara's counselor instincts and training kicking in. "I am also saddened that you will be leaving us. Its been wonderful having you around as you and I have also become good friends. Unfortunately it is now time for our paths to seperate. " Tears welling up in Cara's eyes. Jessye found herself sniffling as well, "I am going to miss you something fierce, Cara." going and giving her friend a warm embrace, and breaking out in sobs. It was causing her heart to break just a little bit and she also would be separated from her twin as well. "Go let your family know, spend some time with them before you leave. And think of this as a way for your experiences to expand. Besides there is the chance of meeting new people and new races. You never know." Jessye wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded. "I will and I hope to see you once more." Time spent with the family, then, with her belongings she was shipped out to what would prove to be her new home, a place that was unknown to her but she was up for it. Who knows what will happen, Jessye hoped it would be mostly good. |
