This makes him a formidable strategist. His greatest weakness is that he lacks spontaneity. Even though he loves passionately for all his spouses he had in the past, he rather builds up a relationship with said person first, and when he is sure will he tie down the knot. But this also makes him come over boring and uninteresting. And because he acts rationally he would never trust on instinct. It’s something he can’t understand. | Personal History | Zaral Loren was born on El Auria and moved to Earth in 2165. At first he traveled around learning it’s history and many cultures. But it wasn’t until 2220 he joined Starfleet. This was his first career in starfleet. He started out as a Security officer and received his first command 2235 as Captain of the USS Canary. It was a small class vessel. In 2256 He was made a task force commanding officer during the Klingon war. And in 2260 he served as Fleet Admiral of the 7th fleet. 6 years later news reached him his homeworld had befallen a great tragedy. It has been a long time since he had returned to his homeworld. He lost his parents, a brother, a sister that he knows of, and his first spouse with whom he parted with years before. After this Zaral retired from the fleet and married third spouse, a human named Regina Fay. He lived with her till her death in 2325. A year later he rejoined starfleet as a science officer. He spends most of his time doing research. His speciality was archeology. This was his second starfleet career. And where he met his fourth wife Yela Vough, a Trill scientist. In 2360 Zaral was assigned to the Academy as a science and security instructor. It is at the Academy where he meets Jennifer Masters. Aside from being the Security instructor he also ran the Academy’s security. Zaral was one of the officers finding out about Jennifer’s hacking into starfleet intel files and had her expelled. (2388) In 2370 his wife Yela was sent to the frontlines of the Dominion war. After a year he joined her. Unfortunately, 3 days after he came to the frontline Yela’s ship was attacked and destroyed. After the war he went on a one year sabbatical before he returned to the academy. In 2390 He met Jennifer's twin sister Linda. At first he had mistaken her for Jennifer, so he had no idea how she could prospered so far as an operations officer. But she was somehow different from Jennifer. He later learned that Linda and Jennifer were twins and Linda was the total opposite from Jennifer. Finally in 2394 Linda’s spell was complete, in a manner of speaking, or how Zaral explained with a smile. He married her that same year. In 2396 Linda Masters was assigned the executive academy director in the Gamma quadrant under Commodore Ethan O'Donnaghue and Zaral was promoted to commander and Academy recruiter of the Mystic Academy. |
